Parkland’s Center for Diabetes and Metabolism

Welcomes Endocrinologist, Heath Meattey, MD

Derry, NH  - Parkland Medical Center announces the appointment of Heath Meattey, MD  to the staff of Parkland’s Center for Diabetes and Metabolism.

A native of New Hampshire, Dr. Meattey graduated from Tulane University School of Medicine in Louisiana and completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, MA.  He is board certified in internal medicine and has a special interest in thyroid disease.

Parkland’s Center for Diabetes and Metabolism helps patients address all aspects of diabetes, weight management and endocrine problems.  The addition of Dr. Meattey enables the center to offer more comprehensive services to a greater number of patients.  “Dr. Meattey’s broad experience in diagnosing and treating endocrine disorders and his particular interest in diagnostic thyroid ultrasound and biopsy allows us to offer complete workup and treatment of thyroid dysfunction and thyroid nodules within the practice,” explains Damaris Valera, Area Practice Manager for Parkland Physician Services.  “This will be a great convenience to our patients.”

Dr. Meattey is currently seeing patients at Parkland’s Diabetes and Metabolism Center located in Suite 300 of the Nutfield Professional Building, 44 Birch Street in Derry.
